If you have large items that won’t fit through a standard door frame or up a tight staircase, we take them apart carefully. We keep all the screws and fixings safe so that when we arrive at your new place, everything goes back together as it should. We bring our own tools and work methodically to protect the structural integrity of your furniture.
Can you help with bed assembly and wardrobe assembly on moving day?

Whether it is a standard divan, a bunk bed, or a complex multi-door wardrobe, we have the tools to handle it. Do you provide flat pack assembly for new furniture deliveries?
We can certainly help with this. Following complicated manuals can be frustrating and time-consuming. If you have moved into a new home and have boxes of flat pack items waiting, our team can take over. We offer professional furniture assembly Cumbria and South West Scotland, saving you hours of effort and making sure your new furniture is built to last. It is a handy addition to our standard moving services, especially for those with busy schedules.
Why is professional furniture assembly Cumbria essential for older houses?
Properties in our region, like the red sandstone houses in Penrith or the villas in Lockerbie, often have narrow hallways, thick stone walls, and steep stairs. Moving bulky items in these spaces requires a solid plan. Professional assembly and dismantling mean we can move your belongings safely without scuffing your walls or damaging the furniture itself. It is a practical way to manage the logistical challenges of historic local building stock in places like Stanwix or the centre of Dumfries.
Expert Furniture Dismantling for Historic Properties
Moving furniture through the unique building stock of Cumbria and South West Scotland presents specific challenges. From the tight door reveals of traditional blonde sandstone villas in Dumfries to the steep, narrow stairwells in Carlisle’s older districts, certain items simply cannot be moved intact. Our team provides a comprehensive furniture dismantling service, carefully deconstructing beds, wardrobes, and office desks to ensure they can be transported without causing structural damage to your home or the furniture pieces themselves. We approach every item with a methodical mindset, ensuring all hardware is securely labelled and stored for the journey.
